220U November

You don't want to miss the 220U Campus Church service this Friday, November 21st @ 8pm in the Cox Building on LSU's campus. There will be hundreds of other students there ready to experience the presence of the One True God! Worship will be led by Deluge, whose worship album was recently named one of the "Best of 2008" by Christianity Today Magazine. The message will come from 220's very own Pastor Joel Stockstill, who preaches and helps equip youth ministries all over the world. We believe this will be one of the best 220U services ever!
If you haven't yet been to 220U Campus Church, then you don't want to miss the service this Friday night at 8pm. We hope to see you and your friends there!
Deluge Night (Nerd Night)

Come join Pastor Joel and the Deluge Band on Thursday, November 6, at the South Campus for Nerd Night! We will kick off with activities and free hotdogs at 6 p.m., and the service will begin at 7 p.m. You won't want to miss a minute of this fun-filled night with many surprises along the way and a special reward given to the best nerd costume! We can't wait to see you there!

220U Campus Church will meet again Friday, October 17, @ 8 p.m. in the Cox Communications Building on the LSU campus. Bring all of your friends to experience the presence of God in worship and come ready to receive a powerful message from Pastor Joel Stockstill. Also pick up a newly designed 220U t-shirt!
Sports' Theme Deluge Night

Deluge Night finally arrived after a much anticipated delay, and it was well worth the wait! The sports' theme had everyone showing up representing their favorite sport, team, and athletes. Many people painted their faces, and some looked like they came straight from practice!
The night got started with many young people showing up early to hang out, enjoy some jambalaya, and play basketball. Worship was off the charts with the Deluge Band leading us in exciting praise and intimate worship. We were also happy to have Marlon Favorite of the National Champion LSU Tiger football team come and share his testimony. After that the 220 Dance Team tore it up with an unforgettable high energy performance. Then Pastor Joel preached on "Winning the Eternal Race." Over 100 young people came to the Lord at the end of the night! Praise Jesus!

Clubs are back!

It's time to go clubbing again! This week Club220 kicked off Bible clubs in most of the middle schools and high schools in our area. For many of the students, teachers, and administrators our presence on their campus was like a breath of fresh air after Hurricane Gustav. We are very excited about returning to many of the schools we served in last year, but we are even more excited about having the opportunity to serve in several new schools in our area.
I believe God is going to do some exciting things on the campuses this year! If you are a student in this area and would like a 220 club at your school, please go to the Club220 page and sign up.
